Hotel de la Paix is a very lovely hotel with high quality service, helpful staff, comfortable beds, nice view and location in Lugano Paradiso. I would recommend it highly for couples or business travelers.
We arrived late and surprised by upgrade. Location is very short walk from lake and sights.. They have great views of lake and mountains. They have free parking right next to hotel. Staff was great. Would recommend highly.
Location: Just a block or so from the lake. Walking distance to just about everything.
Rooms: Wonderfully cozy, nice reception and facilities. Excellent wifi quality.
Breakfast: Very well served in a comfy restaurant.

Hotel de la Paix is only 5 km away from the airport and 1 km away from the train station.
Highway A2 – Lugano Sud exit.
Turn left at the first traffic light, the entrance lies 30 m further down on the left.
Lugano offers public transport throughout the city, that you can use for free with the Ticino Ticket. Ask for it upon check-in.
The bus stop Santa Birgitta and Via Cattori are located just outside the hotel. From / to the city centre take the bus n2 from Santa Birgitta or the the bus n1 from the Imbarcadero (pier) in Paradiso (2 min. on foot from the Hotel).
Lugano railway station.
At the exit to the station take bus no. 2 heading for Paradiso and stop at S. Birgitta.
The hotel lies 50 m further down on the left.
